Another Week another Dev blog. Due to my work schedule during the weekends this dev blog won't be long but may have goodies hidden somewhere on here ;) if you are following me on Facebook or seen FurFang Facebook page you may know what it is!
PROGESS?
Absolutely! We have a host and https://furfang.net is live! Registration is currently disabled as we work on getting everything ready for true Alpha Testing
LOGIN/ REGISTRATION
Can I register/ login though ... currently You can register/ Login though Discord using our already used bot we have for our Discord! At the moment it's disabled as we work on the site.
Facebook?? Facebook.. os underway as thiers alot of more hoops to jump though so hopefully by launch it will be possible but not sure yet..
X [Twitter] This is a possibility, Will need to see if it [hopefully] be easyier process then Facebook is..
I IDENTITY AS..
We have added Multiple more Gender options to help you be well.. You! Still need to add different transactions to each new gender but currently all new genders are in English. As we offer many different languages might be a while ?
Sexual Orientation
Along with adding more ways to identify as, We have added the ability to choose/ add your Sexual Orientation That will display on your profile. We try to add many different ones for both gender and Sexual Orientation and always happy to here what others you would like added!
DISCORD?
As mentioned above and in Dev blog #1 we said a discord was underway for FurFang for updates, bug reports, and more! It is up just not public just yet.
MONETIZE & MARKETPLACE
As mentioned in last blog the site will offer ways for our users to monetize thier content [like Patreon, Subscribestar, Ko-fi, ] So let's talk about fees.. cause this is something we have been asked about..
Will there be fees for monetization of posts?
Yes as we need to be able cover costs we are doing a simple %5 fee on monetization Subscriptions if you look at Patreon they charge 10% fee for new users, 8% for existing pro users.. you only get 5% fee if your account was before the changes and is a legacy plan.. so we feel like 5% is reasonable.
Marketplace Fees
We only charge a 5% fee on any item sold on our marketplace to Like mentioned above to help us cover costs of running the site.

FurFang will be available in over 10 different Languages & supports RTL like Arabic some of the Languages includes
