Needy Stuff First..
HOSTING:
Currently we are looking into Hosting that can provide a smooth process for our users and traffic for the site. Currently the biggest matter at hand. is storage as we know Members are gonna wa t to be able to upload thier artwork, Fursonas, among other things. So we know storage is gonna be a huge part for the site. We are looking at atlease few TB [Terabyte] and be able to add more by the terabyte and not gb]
SELF-HOSTING?:
As we would love to possibly self host the server's ourselves in the future for better control and Data protection for our members the cost is a huge reason its not currently possible due to the amount of hardware and server storage needed. But in time Hopefully we can move the whole platform to a self hosted system.
PRIVACY & DATA:
As like Most In the Furry Fandom we strive for Privacy keeping Real life and furry life separated. Users will have full control of thier Privacy and Data including the ability to download data relating to your account on FurFang.
MARKETPLACE?
Hell yea! We here you and plan to offer a marketplace for artists, Fursuits makers, and hobbyist looking to make an income on our site. We are wanting to also add a Auction [like ebay] to the marketplace in future update, and even a payment plan [well sellers can allow payments on a purchase from the buyer]
OTHER MONETIZATION OPTIONS?:
We are going to offer the ability to Monetize posts [like Patreon, Ko-fi, SubscribeStar] Great for Game developers, or Artists that Offers monthly bases or features to thier subscribers.
NSFW?
Here's the biggest question.. Are we gonna allow NSFW content on our platform? And What about minors gaining access/ seeing NSFW content?
Yes, We are going to have the ability for NSFW content but the plans is it will be locked behing a paywall [Just kidding making sure your paying attention] Verification system. The Verification system is already in place but be a while before the nsfw is ready] You will go into your account general settings > Verification You will be required top upload your ID and a face photo to verify its you.
NOTE: ALL VERIFICATIONS ARE MANUALLY REVIEWED APPROVED/ DENYED BY ADMINISTRATOR AND ONCE APPROVED OR DENYED IS REMOVED FROM OUR SYSTEM WE DO NOT STORE DATA OR IMAGES FROM VERIFICATION!
RELEASE/ ALPHA TESTING?
Currently we do not have a release date as its still under early development and need more Developers to help with the software which mean we may have to hire outside help to help develop additional content/ features to our current code.
We do plan to have Alpha testing once we can get to a stable stage in development which will include special beta codes to gain access to the site.
